The Year of God and Me- you are getting very personal with God this year. You are embracing a deeper walk with Him. You are saying to God – You are all I want and have. This Year we need to go deeper, dig in and enjoy a robust walk with our Creator.
We continue our talk on my 2018 anchors. Last week we looked at three, today we look at the remaining four.
“To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
This word gives me a view of eternity. Christ in Me! My Hope of Glory!!! It reminds me everything here is temporal (don’t get carried away Oge!!!). It prods me to focus on eternity and our reign with Christ (my future). It assures me that there is an eternal plan that supercedes that of men. I therefore need to set my entire gaze on Jesus this 2018 and let Him take the lead in all things. This year, focus on things above (eternal things).
My Heart Stay: 2 Tim 1:12 (NKJV)
“For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.”
This is my doubt breaker. My Confidence in God should be completely unshakeable. I need to know that God is responsible for, and towards me. That’s all!
My Mantra: Job 42:2 (NKJV)
“I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. ”
This is my chant for 2018! And I ain’t keeping quiet! God’s purpose for me can never be thwarted! I just need to be in the center of His will. He can do everything! The number of possibilities in that single statement are limitless. So quit shouting at your enemies and start chanting! Everything will fall in place by His Spirit.

My Charge: Ephe 5:15 (NKJV)
”See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,”
Alright, this here is a charge, an instruction,– circumspectly means to be careful and discreet, to be prudent and cautious. In 2018, the wisdom of God will pave my way and provide direction. The times are evil and we must be accountable to ourselves and the Holy Spirit in all we do. We must walk carefully, be discreet, prudent and cautious, leaning completely on the wisdom of God.
