WHERE ARE YOU SEATED IN THE SCHEME OF THINGS

Your boarding pass please? Seat number 40? This way. And then you are seated. Recently, I was wondering about a nagging situation and was having a discussion with the Holy Spirit or should I say one of those Question & Question times just bothering Him with questions and then the Holy Spirit asked me-Where are you seated? I was very taken aback. Seated? He took me to these scriptures:

Which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come 2:6 – and raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus

Our text is taken from Ephesians 1: 20-21, Ephesians 2: 6 (NKJV)

Hmmm- take a moment let both scriptures sink in-Where am I seated? Down here where all I see is the problem, the battles, the contention, the wickedness, the futility of work or, seated with Christ in Heavenly places far above it ALL!!! I suddenly realized the Holy Spirit was giving me a lesson on Spiritual Authority and a remembrance of my spiritual ranking – Seated in Christ by the right hand of the Father far above every situation, so why was I allowing this nagging situation tarry? Because I was seated right where it wanted me- in the natural!!!!

How many times do we view things through the natural and let them re-organise our thoughts on our Spiritual authority? Today realize you are seated with Christ in heavenly places above all power, principality, might, dominion and every named name. DO NOT FEAR! Speak to every situation! You have the backing of the Father, you can just lean over and speak to Him- you are just RIGHT by Him. Isn’t that such wonderful knowledge? There is a calmness that comes from this knowledge. All hell may break loose but you are seated – in heavenly places, no need fretting – you are seated with Christ. Today take/maintain your seat, exercise your authority. Stand firm! Take territory. Reign with Jesus!
