House of Prayer IV

Greetings Beloved, It’s a new month and the fourth month of this year! It’s also the second quarter of the year and time to reflect on the first quarter and be thankful! God is an amazing father.

Count your blessings. I just did my praise report for Q1, it’s a refreshing exercise.

Over the last three weeks we have studied on “The House of Prayer” and the Lord’s teaching on Prayer. As we continue this week, I want to write on Our intercessor – The Holy Spirit.

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don't know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.

Are there times when you have no idea what to pray for or pray about? Are there times when all you can do is just stare into space and wonder about situations or happenings around you? The Word of God encourages us in Ephesians 6:18 to pray in the Spirit at all times, this is because most times we do not know what to say but the Spirit intercedes for us through wordless groanings.

Prayer remains our key channel of communication to the Father and in His loving kindness, knowing that there are many times we may pray amiss or words may fail us on what to pray about concerning a matter, He has sent the Holy Spirit to help us pray in these moments. Isn’t that just beautiful? That the Holy Spirit prays to the Father on our behalf? God is the ultimate Way Maker! He always creates a way out of tight corners.

Remember that God desires we become a ‘House of Prayer’, we as the present-day temples of the most high God must be consecrated to Him as temples of prayer, offering up praise, worship, supplication etc to Him as we pray. God, understanding our frailties as men have also enlisted the help of the Holy Spirit to help us pray aright.

Today be encouraged that as you pray in the Spirit, the Father is setting things in order and aligning you to His purpose. Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!
