The Core Of Faith

Greetings and welcome to this week’s devotional. May the words you read today cause a multiplication of faith in Jesus in your lives in Jesus name!

It’s amazing that we have a lot of people going to church, praying, fasting and indulging in other kingdom practices but they do not have faith in Jesus and these practices of faith. Hence, it becomes a mere religion.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

The Bible expressly states it that it is impossible to please God without faith. If your Boss at work promised to probably gift you a car and it is not part of your official entitlement, it is a no-brainer that you would even double your commitment to the job in order to ensure that he or she fulfills the promise.

God has made us several promises in the Bible, which is His word and in order to access those promises, He has given us various keys of the kingdom. But I can imagine that it breaks God’s heart when We are not seeking Him diligently and deliberately because WE cannot physically see Him.

When WE approach God, it is imperative to believe that He exists, He lives, He breathes, He understands, He knows, He is alive to do what He has promised to do for us from His word.

Some of us are in the category of those who would say, “I know God can give me a car, but can He also give me money to fuel the car?”

It breaks the heart of God and we need to make a commitment today to start believing God, His word and His ability to turn every lingering situation around for our best.

So, when you pray to God, you must believe that He hears and answers.
When you give, be sure that God will multiply your seed in righteousness.
When you praise God, be sure that He inhabits your praise Himself and He will blow your mind. Amen.

Father, in the name of Jesus, please forgive me for doubting you repeatedly. I decree and declare that the last time I doubted you is the last time I will doubt you. Change my story for the best and make Me a display of your goodness. Amen.
