Make Up Your Mind

I was worshipping God during my fellowship in the morning one day and there were certain levels I was releasing my faith for, then I heard Him clearly say, “I am ready when you are ready”.

So, in life we find out many times that God is not responsible for the level we are in life but We are; by what we think, say and do.

Therefore the title for today’s devotional is “MAKE UP YOUR MIND”

But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.

This passage is so apt and without mincing words, makes us understand that we cannot claim to be looking up to God and be looking elsewhere at the same time.

That reminds Me of a beloved Father in the faith who said God asked Him if He could make one of His eyes look up and the other look down at the same time.

The scripture for today shows that when you have a desire and begin to pray about it, you ought not to accommodate doubt or double-mindedness.

Simply because God has said it in His word that anyone who is unstable in His/Her thoughts and desires should not expect to receive anything from God and such a one is unstable in all their ways. That is how God sees such an individual.

The question now is… “Are you ready to table your request to God and stick to making sure you do not give up until you receive the answer from Him?”

If you are confident in the fact that He can do any and everything. If your mind bears witness that He is all encompassing, then that’s exactly what you are going to get.

I really hope this takes you to another level in your walk with God and delivers countless testimonies into your live in Jesus name. Amen.

Prayer

Prayer for this week

Father I apologize for every time I have made you small in my eyes and equated you to a challenge… [mention the challenge] that looked mighty in my eyes. I ask that you forgive Me and give Me a brand-new beginning. I belong you and I want to walk with you always.

Charge

Charge for this week

My charge to you today is to live in the consciousness that God is not limited and that He is willing to lavish you with His love anytime and everytime but He is not a nuisance, hence you need to grant Him access into your affairs for Him to take charge.
