Strength Building With Joy

Let me welcome everyone to the new month of August, be Blessed in Jesus name. Our daily lives require grace and strength to grow daily in Spirit. Trials and hard times knock us down and take a lot of strength from us. We need strength day by day to continue in purpose and truth.

Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Nehemiah 8:10 (NKJV)

Joy is a fruit of the Spirit and is required for daily victorious living. It also requires a staying in the presence of the Lord so that the fullness of joy is received from the Father. God expects us to know that He is for us and desires that we keep winning in this journey of life. We often times find it challenging to find joy in the midst of sad and terrible ordeals, however the text today encourages us that to keep at life despite what is thrown our way, we need to stay in the presence of God to build strength to remain victorious.

His Joy is the true way of building strength daily. Where do we find His Joy? In His presence! Rather than move away from God during times of trials, this is the time to embrace and tarry in His presence.

What do you do when in His presence? Be expectant through expressions of love, worship and praise.  These expressions build a deeper relationship with the Father as they prompt Him on your stayed presence before Him, He fills you with Joy as you tarry in His Presence and this strengthens you and builds faith and trust in our Father. You believe and know that He will deliver you. As you wait for Him, you experience joy in Him. He is coming soon.
