Going deeper with God – KNOCK

Hope you are enjoying and reflecting on our ASK series. Going deeper with God requires effort on our part to get to know Him. All we need do is ASK him for His help through His Holy Spirit.

We look at KNOCK. Our foundation text, Matthew 7:7-Jesus said “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”

When we knock, what is to be opened to us? As I continued in my pursuit of the deep this year, the Holy Spirit showed me the doors to be opened to me for the deep. The doors of wealth are to be opened to us as we go deeper with God.

Two doors; Spiritual wealth and Physical wealth doors. One door opens first before you go into the other. You probably know which one opens first?

Spiritual wealth doors open to us as we pursue a deeper revelation of Christ – God’s mystery. In Christ is all things!

I am contending for you that your hearts will be wrapped in the comfort of heaven and woven together into love’s fabric. This will give you access [a] to all the riches of God as you experience the revelation of God’s great mystery—Christ. 3 For our spiritual wealth is in him, like hidden treasure waiting to be discovered—heaven’s wisdom and endless riches of revelation knowledge.

Colossians 2:2-3 (TPT)

Knocking on the doors of Spiritual Wealth opens us to a realm that is filled with endless riches of revelation knowledge and treasures of heaven’s wisdom as Jesus Christ is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. In Christ lies every secret, formula, idea etc. required for life here on earth and in eternity. You make better decisions, you read circumstances better.

Just like the parable of the man that found a treasure in a field, went and sold everything he had and bought the field, that’s what happens when you discover the kingdom of God through a deep revelation of Christ, you do all you have to do to see, pursue and stay in that place.

Our Physical wealth is derived from Isaiah 45:3
I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.

The most apparent things we see today are not the wealth the Holy Spirit speaks about here. It takes deep revelation in a place of deep intimacy for the door to the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places to open to you. The explosive wealth most of us desire is not in plain sight, it requires a digging. Our Father desires for us to experience wealth for our generations yet unborn and to push His Kingdom agenda. True wealth is hidden and it is to the glory of Kings to search out a matter.

As you go deeper with God, He reveals His Character, His Ways, His Blueprint (plans) and His Secrets. Today ASK God and let Him take you deeper. It would be the best and most important journey of your life.

Prayer for this week

My Father, I pray in the name of Jesus to go deeper with you, that the mystery of Jesus be revealed to me by the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Ask, Seek and Knock on the door of His heart. The Father desires an intimate relationship with you, that’s the whole reason we were created.
