Hello everyone, this year is moving so fast. We are in March! Glory to God, I do hope your walk of faith is getting stronger each day.
God is able to make all grace abound to you! Remember it’s all about Him. This week we are looking at Prayer and how important this is to our Journey with God. I see prayer as the very oxygen that keeps your faith life going. In Matthew 21:13- Jesus Christ says that God’s temple (which is the present day you and 1) should be a house of prayer and not a den of thieves. This would also be a series as I am led to write by the Holy Spirit on prayer.
Our God desires that we (His temple) be a house of prayer consecrated to Him alone and not to mammon (money). Our quiet time with the Father is our deepest form of fellowship with Him. It is in those times, we pour out our hearts to Him; in praise, in worship, in grief, in sorrow, in supplication, in helplessness, name it- prayer is the place for it. Prayer is our constant communication to God and His key communication channel to us. Prayer is also an important pathway to our destinies. It is on the altar of prayer that God guides and directs your footsteps as you develop a deeper relationship with Him, trusting Him to lead you in the way that He has created for you.
Jesus Christ taught us how to pray using the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6 as a layout for approach, however before then Christ was very particular about the posture of our hearts when we come to prayer to our Father. As important as prayer was, more important to the Father was the state of our hearts towards Him in the place of prayer. This week we look at POSTURE when praying
