A Command – To Love God

The greatest commandment given by Jesus Christ is this:  LOVE GOD WITH EVERYTHING YOU”VE GOT (my words)

Speaking Deliberately – Every word spoken counts!

Take a moment and think- what words have you spoken today?  Did you know that every idle word spoken will be judged? Did you know that God listens to every single word uttered by you? And He weighs each one?  What words do you speak to yourself, others and God?  Today we need to start to speak deliberately to everything- persons, situations, God.  Jesus Christ was very clear about idle words. He says so in the scripture for our devotional today.

Rise, Take Your Journey and GO!!!

This Panam Percy Paul’s song has been on repeat in my mind for over a week. It’s a catchy tune and very apt for today’s devotional- I have made up my mind I will follow Jesus – yeah yeah

His Power At Work In Us

Alleluia for Our Lord God Omnipotent reigns!  What a delight to know God in these times.  He is always ensuring that we remain victorious in every situation.  Trusting God and an understanding of the Power at work in us remain key to living a victorious life in Jesus Christ.

The House of Mourning

The Bible in Ecclesiastes 7: 2 says it is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting for that is the end of all men and the living will take it to heart.  This week has been one of such. I lost three persons all unrelated on Wednesday last week and I have had to ‘go’ to the houses of mourning.

OUR VICTORY – SIGNED, SEALED AND DELIVERED

God loves us without fail. This was very clear when He sent the Lord Jesus to reconcile humanity back to God through the death on the Cross. He did not withhold His only son but sent Him to die for us so that we may have eternal life in Him.  Amazing Love! God signed off on the death of His only son so that He (God) can have a chance at loving us without borders. We can enter in to His presence and not be consumed by His holiness. Alleluia!

Being Specific With God

Praise God for another day!  A new dawn, new promises – remember to bless God for your day-gift.  Unwrap with joy, delight at the Father’s promises for the day and be THANKFUL!!  Make declarations.  Be specific on what you want. Clarity releases faith. As you make your requests to the Father with a thankful and expectant heart, remember that God dislikes vain repetitions.

Where are you seated? All about right seating!

Your boarding pass please? Seat number 40? This way.  And then you are seated.  Recently, I was wondering about a nagging situation and was having a discussion with the Holy Spirit or should I say one of those Question & Question times- just bothering Him with questions- and then the Holy Spirit asked me-Where are you seated?  I was very taken aback.  Seated?  He took me to these scriptures:

No Quick Fix- Become a True Worshiper

I love this song- reminds me of exactly why we were created! God loves our worship so much that He inhabits the praises of His people- inhabit; to live in, to dwell- when your worship rises up to God, He steps down into your space. What a wonderful thing! God comes to dwell in your life, your home, everywhere you lift up a song, He listens- how awesome!!   You converse with Him, fellowship with Him, sing love songs to Him, just thoroughly celebrate Him. When last did you give God awesome worship? This week, I have chosen to take a break from His Transformation Agenda series and write on what the Holy Spirit has instructed – Being a true worshi

His Transformation Agenda- Break

Greetings in the beautiful name of our Lord Jesus!! He is truly our greatest reward!! Don’t ever forget that He is the Potter that puts us together, we come broken to pieces but He mends us. This week we see two occurrences of ‘Breaking’ in our lives- We are broken by sin and by life’s challenges
