I love this song- reminds me of exactly why we were created! God loves our worship so much that He inhabits the praises of His people- inhabit; to live in, to dwell- when your worship rises up to God, He steps down into your space. What a wonderful thing! God comes to dwell in your life, your home, everywhere you lift up a song, He listens- how awesome!! You converse with Him, fellowship with Him, sing love songs to Him, just thoroughly celebrate Him. When last did you give God awesome worship? This week, I have chosen to take a break from His Transformation Agenda […]
Greetings in the beautiful name of our Lord Jesus!! He is truly our greatest reward!! Don’t ever forget that He is the Potter that puts us together, we come broken to pieces but He mends us. This week we see two occurrences of ‘Breaking’ in our lives- We are broken by sin and by life’s challenges Our text is taken from Isaiah 64: 8 But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we, are the work of Your hand. (NKJV) Being broken by sin is typically when we become disobedient to God’s way […]
Alleluia, Our God reigns! He will be our God, even unto our end!!! Isn’t that just beautiful? God is eager to do great things in our lives. Let us submit to His transformation agenda.
Praise God who is ever near to us and imparts us daily with His Holy Spirit. We have power. Everything is possible to them that believe. Yes everything! About believing, let’s treat a topic I have often wondered about- ‘midnight prayers’. I figured this must have come out of the Paul and Silas experience- the ground-shaking miracle of their release from the maximum security cell in the jailhouse.
Remember how you always recognize the scent of a loved one once you step into the room? You instantly know that Mum or Dad have been in that room. This week we take a look at what I have called the Jesus Perfume. Our text is taken from 2Corinthians 2:14-15a But Thank God! He has made us captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now He uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume. Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. (NLT) In the scripture above, we see that God […]
Joyful today? You should be. Remember this is the day the Lord has made!! Rejoice and be glad in it!! The Lord is near!! Believe! This week we look at the Crowd Situation – Our text is taken from Mark 10: 47-48 And when he heard it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me! (NKJV) Remember Blind Bartimaeus? The beggar by the roadside, destitute and dependent on alms from people, just barely […]
Remember this Song? The steadfast love of our God never ceases, His mercies never come to an end, they are new every morning, Great is your faithfulness oh Lord! Our text is taken from Psalm 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made, We will rejoice and be glad in it (NKJV) I go walking every other day in the week, in those days, I have noticed every morning has its own look and feel, the Holy Spirit pointed this out to me! He made me realize just how different everyday is, full of its own promises and possibilities. A new dawn, a new […]
Greetings in the mighty and awesome name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Hope you have been strength building in the last week? Time for some more! This week, we look at the waiting situation in ‘Wait for’. Our text is taken from Lamentations 3:25 The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him (NKJV) The ‘Wait For” situation connotes an absence and/or an expectation of an arrival, a delivery, a start, a finish, etc. Waiting for God means we are expectant to see Him come to our help, hear His decision concerning a matter, waiting to see His […]
Excited at another week? You need to be, you are alive! The Joy of the Lord is your strength! Moreover, this week’s devotional arms you with more ways to build strength in Christ. This week and next we would be focusing on ‘The Waiting Game.’ Over time, I discovered two waiting situations with God – Wait on and Wait for. The difference between the two are the key words; on and for. On connotes a presence while For connotes an absence and/or an expectation of an arrival. This week we look at Wait on. Our text is taken from Isaiah 40:31 But those who […]
